“Sinatra” and Locals Star in Summer Benefit for Dingmans Ferry Theatre

More than 200 people attended an open-air evening of song, entertainment and dance at the Dingmans Ferry Theatre’s first theatrical event. Held on the massive stage at Akenac Park, home to our newly renovated intimate theatre, a 20 foot wide projection screen provided the backdrop for the vast array of talent who appeared.

Produced and directed by Dennis Lee, and assisted by theatre volunteers, this nearly 2-hour long show featured host  Jim Manfredonia, who provided an evening of song stylings in the manner of Frank Sinatra. His take on Sinatra was “Ring-a-Ding-Ding!

Also featured were Gene and Kat Biscontini, who recreated the featured dance from “Dirty Dancing”, songs from Paige, Kristopher, and Tim,  and music from the Sage Duo, Phil Carollo and Akua Davis.
